Future Organizational Structure of Taiwan Provincial Government R.O.C.

Future Organizational Structure (January 1, 2012)
In line with the Local Government Act of January 1, 2006 and under the organizational charter and personnel structure approved by the Executive Yuan, the Taiwan Provincial Government will have a reduced established staff of 84. Thus the Taiwan Provincial Government will have a streamlined organizational structure comprising four operational divisions and three offices converted from the original six operational divisions (Civil Affairs, Culture and Education, Economic Development, Financial Affairs, Social and Health Affairs, and Public Affairs), five offices (Information, Secretariat, Personnel, Budget and Accounting, and Government Ethics) and one committee (Regulations). Based on the resolution passed by the 59th meeting of the Taiwan Provincial Government on August 9, 2010, the future four divisions are Civil-Social-Health-Environment Division(converted from divisions of Civil Affairs and Social and Health Affairs ), Financial-Economic-Transportation-Regulations Division(consolidation of divisions of Financial Affairs and Economic Development, and committee of Regulation), Education-Culture-Information Division(consolidation of division of Culture and Education and office of Information) and Administrative Division(converted from the Secretariat). Currently the Taiwan Provincial Government still operates on six operational divisions, five offices and one committee because a prolonged period is approved and given by the Ministry of Civil Service on January 9, 2007 to the Taiwan Provincial Government in order to smoothly transform it to the new organizational structure. The mission setup is the Taiwan Provincial Teacher Appeal and Evaluation Committee.
